Kayak Rentals - Eastsound, Orcas Island
Our rental boats are great for any aquatic terrain around Orcas Island. Our most popular 4 hour rental option gives you ample time to paddle the coastlines of orcas and see all the incredible views and wildlife it has to offer. We recommend those Launching from our North Beach location (1 mile from eastsound) to go explore point doughty, a state park only accessible by the water!
RENTAL LOCATION:
For those renting from Eastsound, please meet us at our Eastsound Office (414 North Beach Rd. Eastsound WA), we will then have you follow us to the launch point at north beach.

Rentals can be returned early but not late, kayaks must be returned launch by 5pm and gear returned to the office by 5:30pm.
If you are looking for shorter or more flexible time frames, please rent from our rosario location which can be booked here
Delivery Options:
Delivery is available to other popular kayaking locations on Orcas Island including Moran State Park, Obstruction Pass State Park, Eastsound, Orcas Ferry Terminal, and Deer Harbor Preserve. You must be present to receive and return your kayak equipment.
Pick ups from our Eastsound and Rosario location are free
Kayak rentals with a delivery can be booked here
Delivery Fees: $40 per kayak ($80 minimum)
Kayak Rentals include:
Paddles, life jackets, a bilge pump, and a large dry bag (sorry we do not rent spray skirts).
KAYAKERS CANNOT PADDLE ALONE. Youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adults.
Any kayaker who rents a kayak with the intention of executing a channel crossing, a multi-day trip, and/or any trip judged by the Outer Island Team to need additional documentation must submit a FLOAT PLAN 72 hours prior to delivery.
We have a 25% non-refundable deposit/cancellation fee. Your trip is transferable until 72 hrs before your departure. No-shows will be charged in full. Outer Island Excursions may cancel trips due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be refunded in full. If you do need to cancel within 72 hrs of departure, you will be charged 100%, unless we are able to resell you tickets.
