Anacortes Whale & Orca Tour
Join one of our Whale and Wildlife tours departing from Skyline Marina in Anacortes. Come out and search for Orca Whales, Humpback Whales, Gray Whales, Minke Whales, porpoises, seals, sea lions, otters, bald eagles and much more. Our boats are faster and have a much longer range than any other tour boats in the region. We see at least one kind of whale on over 98% of our tours!
We offer daily scheduled Whale Watching Tours from Skyline Marina, Anacortes, WA (about 90 minutes north of Seattle and 45 minutes south of Bellingham). We head out in search of Orcas Whales, Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, and Gray Whales. We spot whales on over 98% of our trips. Orcas are here all year round, with the most frequent sightings in May, June, July, August and September. Humpbacks and Minkes are possible spring, summer, and fall and Grays are possible in the spring, fall, and winter. We also frequently encounter sea lions, seals, porpoises, eagles, otters and sea birds. Our boats are the fastest whale watching boats leaving from the mainland and we can accomplish more in 3 to 4 hours than what the big slow boats can do in 6 to 7 hours.

From March 1st to November 15th we GUARANTEE YOU WILL SEEE A WHALE OR AN ORCA or you will get a FREE ticket to come back!
From November 16 to the end of February, WHALE SIGHTINGS ARE NOT GUARANTEED because we have less visitors and therefore less boats searching to find them- but there are still plenty of whales out there! We prioritize Orcas and other whales, and also often encounter an abundance of other wildlife including Steller's Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Bald Eagles, otters, and a wide variety of seabirds.
Children (and infants) require a standard adult or senior ticket and cannot join a tour unattended!

WINTER WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS: Winter is brisk in the Pacific Northwest! We will attempt to go out in most conditions, so be prepared for cold and rain. The whales and wildlife are already wet so they don't care about the rain! However, if it is very windy and the sea state is too rough, we may have to move or cancel departures. Please be prepared to be flexible for the best chance of success- and dress warmly!
We have a 25% non-refundable deposit / cancellation fee. Your trip is transferrable until 72 hrs before your departure. No-shows will be charged in full. Outer Island Excursions may cancel trips due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be refunded in full. If you do have to cancel within 72 hrs of departure, you will be charged 100%, unless we can resell your tickets. If you would like to attempt to pursue this option, call us as soon as possible.
